Whether it’s computational design, creative coding, data journalism, or dashboard design, D3.js lets you explore all these areas and more. In this workshop, we’ll learn the basics of D3 (Data-Driven Documents) and put them into practice.
If you'd like to participate interactively, please bring your computer—the code will be available to you, and you can follow along and explore in parallel. We'll also have time for an open session where we can freely discuss for what topics you'd use D3.
Our final project is a creative coding session where we'll build an animated and interactive example using publicly available climate data.
